A small town in the Goldfields, roughly 200km from Kalgoorlie. I tried to play around with some tatting a couple of weeks ago but having to let it sit a while before closing each ring so the sweat disipated was just too labourious :) Hopefully get some done in the autumn, before winter chills my fingers stiff (what a laugh, I'm only in my 20's lol).

We are on danger alert as the fire was spreading in Churchill (10 minutes by car) but they are trying to get the containment lines going now...of course we are also on ember alert......today is cooler and not very windy.......I hope that Jenni is O.K. as Whittlesea got it very bad.......
