Veta...what beautiful work you do. Is it easy for you to find tatting materials? I would love to trade thread with you. Let me know. I like having threads from all over the world. I love that tatting is everywhere.
Have a wonderful week.
Thank you for the slideshow. I really enjoyed looking at the pictures. That beautiful red heart really stood out to me. That one is particularly gorgeous.
Well, Veta, I have been tatting now for over 50 years. The history of how I started tatting is on my blog - here http://janeeborall.blogspot.com/2006/10/my-personal-tatting-history.html I have done other lace work but always I like tatting best!!! So many ideas for new patterns in my head that I barely have time to sleep or eat!!! I have never met a Russian tatter who actually lives in Russia before. Nina Libin is from Russia but she now lives in New York. The nicest lady and SO talented.

Thank you for the translation! The shift key is probably more representative at my time of life: my mood can change in a nanosecond! Anyway, I thought it was a fun thing that somebody was making jewelry out of old typewriter keys and the cyrillic letters are very pretty.
