About Me:
I'm from Oslo, Norway. I started to tat last year in june, and I have trouble to lay down the shuttles. Unfortunately is it difficult here in Norway to get yarn and good shuttles, but I do my best to get some elsewhere. Please excuse me for my bad English. I have not practised it since 1975.

Go on!! You make beautiful things. There is always something you can learn, even if you make tatting for years. That the fun of tatting. Don't worry about your English. They understand you and that's important, not the (maybe) mistakes.

Nuperella, thank you very much for your nice comment on my page. The big doily at the end of my slideshow is actually a wonderful vintage piece I rescued form an antique store. I wish I could take credit for it, but I cannot. As it was I rescued it from being sold as a "crochet doily" can you believe it? I recognized the pattern from a vintage pattern book I have that had patterns from the early 1900's and that doily was one of them. I was so excited to find the piece done up. If you look closely the joines of the doily's picots are TIED TOGETHER. Not the modern joins taught after 1851 by Mlle. Riego. Unbelievable, but true.
