OMG, Your tatting is inspirational....I want to be that good. Came to your page to get a copy of Heart's Desire...Fox directed me here. How or where do you get the video photo gallery. My DH is good with the tech support but we don't about this. Looks complicated....what am I saying, I make knots with thread. This has to be easier. LOL!
I got the bootie pattern from

The pattern is also available in one of the Work Basket magazines, but I'll have to look up which one.
The patten may also be available on-line, but I don't know where.
Hi Monica,
I noticed your location and thought I'd drop you a line. Your work is beautiful and has inspired me to go to the bead store today! Although I just started in August, I am devouring everything I can about tatting and why not the beading thing as well!
I joined and then departed the Canadian group, as it is inactive and was only one other tatter there from Ontario. No-one in Toronto. I would love to see get together with tatters in person - like the "Stitch and Bitch" knit and crochet evenings I have attended in TO.
Thank you for the lovely welcome.
I think I was in grade nine or so when I learned to tat.
I remember being so determined to learn how to make the lace that I didn't care that my fingers were getting picked apart along with the knots I had to take out.
My fingers hardly ever get picked apart now. :)
Welcome to eTatters! Your work is lovely. I've enjoyed the pictures you have so far and I'm looking forward to more if you have any. That is so neat that you learned as a kid! How old were you? Glad to see that you are still tatting. Hope you enjoy it here, people are pretty friendly here.

I'm working on writing out the pattern and hope to make it available by the end of February.
