Im a single mum of 2 girls. I learnt to tat about 2-3 years ago from a tatting leaflet, an became addicted. i am still learning though most aspects of tatting are still a mystery. i would like to find some friends who also tat.

There are at least 3 ways to finish off, that I know of. There's the 'hide the square knot', the 'sew the ends back into the knots' and the 'magic thread trick'. Is that what you're talking about?

However, if you happen to have a picture or a scan or two, or dozen, of your work, we'd love to see it. Not that I'm begging, oh wait, I am. I love to see what other tatters are doing, especially when I've hit a block.
