Sad News

I have lost 80% of my shuttles. I recently went back to college to continue my degree goals and somehow in the three week period I lost my tatting bag that contained most of my shuttles. The crazy thing 4 weeks before I was thinking, you know you don't need to carry all of this stuff with you every day. I wish I had listened! Now I anticipate my tax refund and dream of replacing my shuttles. I didn't sleep well for 3 days!

Thank You so much for the kind comment. The heart on my page is a pattern I wrote in the 1990 the diagram is in my photos if you want to give it a try.

Hi Leanne,
I don't like the thread because it is inconsistent in its thickness and it is tough. Also, it seems to have little hard bally bits along it every so often that cannot be pulled off. I find it very rough to the touch and the colours are muddy. There, have I put you off enough? If you like, I will send you a few samples. Send me an email through etatters with your address and I will pop it in the mail! : ) Fox

Leanne, you asked about a butterfly pattern on one of my pictures. That's one I made up and the pattern is available free in the Pattern Library (under "critters") here on E-Tatters. That poor little butterfly isn't a patch on your veil, though -- that's beautiful!

Welcome to eTatters, Leeanne. Your veil is lovely. As an example of your work, it speaks volumes about your skill.

Oh, doesn't it just frustrate you to pieces when you get so far into a project and then find something like that color difference? Been there, done that. Didn't bother to get the t-shirt.
