Kiva, the microfinance site that we as a group support, has introduced the concept of Lending Teams.

The idea is that you join up as a Kiva member in your own right and make your own loans and support people as you normally would, but you are also logged as part of a team and all your loans count towards that team's overall contribution.

I just received the following notice from Kiva - this is great news, means that we can support some more crafty people sooner than expected! I'm off now to find some more people to lend money to.
