As an idea that Wally give us in the site of Frivolite en Español, according to the olympics time, she propose a challenge and mine was to learn this tecnique, celtic tatting,... So I surf in the net , looking for pattern and directions about this theme and began my practise...... and these are my results....

Hi Claudia! Thanks for your comment on the celtic bookmark. You should try it! It was not hard at all. Still very new to tatting, I used it as an exercise to learn proper use of magic threads and how to make split rings. Each component of the design is far from perfect, because I was just practising and learning; but when put together, it all looks OK. I'm sure that you will be able to do better than I did on a first attempt.
Thank you for the pattern link, Claudia. It is a beautiful pattern. I added it to my "tatting patterns I'm gonna tat" link list on my blog. I like how you took a Christmas wreath pattern and tatted it in a completely different color it looks like a lovely flower motif. I never would've thought to do that! Thank you! I enjoyed your slide show, too!
