My Mother taught me to tat 19 years ago. I try to tat a little bit every day. I love tatting with colorful threads. Tatting animals is my favorite. My favorite designers are Jane Eborall and Pam Palmer.
I've looked through your pictures and really like all your work -- but especially the partridge in the gold pear -- although my niece now wants me to try to make SpongeBob for her!
Thanks for the notification re Heather. Things have been busy and I don't get to all the tatting blogs lately (waaaaaa!).
Thanks for stopping by. I don't always have time to check out all the neat blogs, either, I just try and hit a few every few days. And then I have to start over. Have fun on the patterns and let me know if you have any problems.
Hi Carol, thanks for the message! It's good to see you "out and about" in the online tatting world. I look forward to seeing the photos you said you have of your latest tatting projects! :)
Hello Carol, How are you doing? Sorry it has taken me so long in getting back to you. I REALLY need to get that book from Patti D. Yea I recently started making the rose pattern by Jeanne Lugert, which I absolutely LOVE!!!
P.S. Thanks for asking about my husband. He has good days and then some not so good. We just take it a day at a time. Since he retired, it is less demanding of him and he can rest a lot more. We are moving from town into the mountains (by this time next year). Still looking for land/home. Miss (s)Tinky turned 5 this June and is doing fantastic. She's made vast improvements and very friendly/loving--a great companion. Never thought a rescued pitbull would be such a grand dog! I love her to pieces!! :O)
Hi Carol, It's good to see a lot of my old tatting friends on this site. I have been doing well. Staying busy, for sure. I hope to be in better touch with folks again. The past two years has been a whirlwind around here, but I do think of everyone! XOXOX
